Teaching Opportunity with York Region District School Board

We are seeking a qualified Indigenous Language and International Languages Teachers & Instructors (Non-OCT) to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and instructing students in various languages and cultures, promoting diversity and inclusivity in the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Provide language instruction and cultural guidance to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly

Requirements:

  • Qualifications and experience in teaching Indigenous languages and international languages
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with diverse student populations
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced educational setting
