About the Role

The Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Strategic Planner - Hwi. In this exciting opportunity, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of the Healthy Workplace Strategy and Action Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote a healthy and supportive work environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address workplace health and wellness issues
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy and program development
  • Develop and deliver presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations
  • Provide technical expertise and support to bureau managers and regional locations
Requirements
  • Ability to pass an OPP background/security investigation
  • Knowledge of police work and its culture, including administration of police services and understanding of mental health and support models
  • Organizational, analytical, and program management skills
  • Ability to manage projects to achieve results and identify performance indicators
  • Research and analytical methods and techniques
  • Current/emerging trends in environmental scanning
  • Presentation software and ability to develop and deliver presentations
  • Ability to utilize Microsoft Suite software
