**Summary**

The Production Planner will primarily be responsible for maximizing our production planning in Both Canadian and US Operations. The Production Planner will be responsible for forward thinking and communicating throughout the organization and accurate targets using planned sales orders, customer contacts and intercompany standing orders. This individual will analyze and maintain accurate rolling demand plans while monitoring sales to ensure availability. In addition, he/she will be responsible for communicating results to key stakeholders and will work closely with the Sales Teams and Canadian Plant Manager and US Warehouse Manager.

**Job Duties**
- Maximizing Production Schedules and look for best ways to improve lead times and communication cross departmentally.
- Maintaining documentation and operating procedures for demand processes.
- Conducting current and future forecasting analysis.
- Analyze and uphold accurate and detailed rolling demand plans while monitoring sales to ensure product availability.
- Manage inventory targets making recommendations about changes to inventory targets based on changes in demands or market trends.
- Routinely seek the advice of your peers and actively participate in projects that will advance the company.
- Effectively communicate on a timely basis with internal departments.
- Coordinate and collaborate necessary action plans with affected departments.
- Issue work orders to Production Staff in both locations
- Maintain a positive relationship with all colleagues.
- Report any issues to Management and provide solutions or alternatives when we cannot make our customers dates.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- 2 years of experience in in Demand Planning.
- Advanced analytical skills.
- Good understanding of the technical process of supply chains.
- Strong analytical skills and attention detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to multi-task and problem solve.
- Able to work in a fast paced environment.

Spieth America requires a Production Planner who, under the direction of the Director of Operation, will primarily be responsible for providing statistical forecasts and accurate targets using planned sales orders, customer contacts and intercompany standing orders. This individual will analyse and maintain accurate rolling demand plans while monitoring sales to ensure availability. In addition, he/she will be responsible for communicating results to key stakeholders.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
