About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team at Labatt Breweries of Canada. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking orders while operating a forklift and a layer pick forklift in a safe and effective manner, following safe work practices and maintaining and changing the forklift battery daily.
- Receiving inbound product from the brewery into the warehouse, including stacking in rows up to 3 high.
Requirements:
- Be of legal drinking age.
- Engage in physical activities and manual labor as requested, including but not limited to: prolonged standing, walking, lifting, pushing, twisting, pulling, and bending.
- Lift objects up to 80 lbs.
- Climb a ladder/stairs.
- Work on slippery floors.
- Lift objects higher than the shoulders.
- Operate motorized equipment.
- Exposure to vibration.
- Able to wear all PPE as required, including safety shoes, glasses, bump cap, hearing protection (jewelry must be taken off).
- Able to work shift work (day, afternoons, and midnights).
