Job Description:

The Production Supervisor is a critical role that requires leadership, technical expertise, and strong communication skills. You will be responsible for managing production operations, ensuring quality and safety standards are met, and driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the plant.


Key Responsibilities:

  • In charge of production, personnel, quality, and safety requirements
  • Provide leadership to all leads and employees on the shift
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities of the plant
  • Train and evaluate employees in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
  • Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all safety rules are followed
  • Prepare reports on status of established KPIs and champion production-related continuous improvement projects
  • Lead and participate in Kaizen events to ensure continuous improvement goals are being achieved


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience with preference given to those with experience in a print or packaging manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership experience on the production floor
  • University degree or college diploma in Engineering/Operations Management or related experience
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills with experience in dealing with personnel issues including coaching, discipline, and health/safety compliance
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement efforts would be ideal
  • Must possess good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability, problem-solving, and detail orientation
  • Ability to influence others and effectively work in a team
  • Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
