About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to join our team at Tania Hemraj. As a nanny, you will be responsible for providing top-notch care and supervision to our children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure a well-stocked pantry and fridge
  • Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and organized home
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their basic needs are met
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, promoting positive behavior and development
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, helping them become confident and capable individuals
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all necessary safety protocols
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children, promoting their physical and mental development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring the children receive a balanced diet
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods, establishing a consistent sleep routine
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring their transportation needs are met
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing comfort and support when needed
  • Help children with homework, promoting their academic development and success
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in childcare or a related field
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Initiative and judgment, with the ability to make sound decisions and take responsibility for actions
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities
  • Reliability and trustworthiness, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and discretion
  • Team player with excellent oral communication skills
