Job Summary

Tania Hemraj is seeking a reliable and experienced nanny to provide top-notch care for our children. As a key member of our household team, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment for our little ones.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for household management in the absence of parents
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and healthy environment
  • Shop for food and household supplies to ensure our family's needs are met
  • Travel with us on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
  • Wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens to keep our family's belongings in order
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Discipline children according to the methods requested by their parents
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development to help them grow into confident and capable individuals
  • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children to ensure their well-being
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home by identifying and mitigating potential hazards
  • Organize activities such as games and outings for children to promote their cognitive and social development
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals to fuel our family's bodies and minds
  • Prepare infants and children for rest periods to ensure they get the sleep they need
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a stable and loving presence in their lives
  • Take children to and from school and to appointments, ensuring they arrive on time and are prepared for their activities
  • Tend to the emotional well-being of children, providing a listening ear and a comforting presence when needed
  • Help children with their homework, supporting their academic growth and development
Requirements
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification
  • CPR certification
Work Environment

Our home is a non-smoking, scent-free environment that values the health and well-being of all its occupants.

Work Setting

We are located in an urban area and work in our employer's/client's home.

Target Audience

We are seeking a nanny who can supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children.

Weight Handling

You will be required to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs) as part of your duties.
