About the Role
The Southlake Regional Health Centre is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team in the adult acute mental health population. This is a leadership role that requires collaboration and consultation with Psychiatry, nursing, and other interprofessional team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Support patients throughout the continuum of care to ensure timely, relevant, and appropriate clinical care is provided to support the patient's journey to wellness.
- Work in partnership with all relevant stakeholders, excelling in all four domains of practice: clinical care, leadership, education, and research.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse in the extended class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Nurse Practitioner Primary Health Care certificate/credentialing from an approved program.
- Current member of the Nurse Practitioner's Association of Ontario with Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing experience preferred.
- Current member of RNAO.
