About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team at Southlake Regional Health Centre. As a key member of our mental health team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to adult patients with mental health needs, working collaboratively with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring timely and relevant interventions to support patient recovery and wellness.
  • Lead and participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the advancement of mental health care practices and policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to promote education, research, and best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse in the extended class with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing.
  • Nurse Practitioner Primary Health Care certificate/credentialing from an approved program.
  • Current member of the Nurse Practitioner's Association of Ontario, with psychiatric/mental health nursing experience preferred.
  • Current member of RNAO.
