Baycrest Hospital seeks a skilled Therapeutic Diet Technician to support our Food and Nutrition Services team. As a key member of our team, you will interact with patients regarding food preferences and develop individual dietary plans under the supervision of a Clinical Dietitian.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and modify meal plans according to patient needs and health status.
  • Collaborate with Clinical Dietitians to address dietary concerns and make recommendations for menu modifications.
  • Provide education to patients, families, and caregivers on food services and nutrition.
  • Contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives and participate in monthly QA projects.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in a relevant field (e.g., Dietary Technician, Food & Nutrition Management).
  • Membership in a professional organization (e.g., Canadian Society of Nutrition Management).
  • Food handling certification and 2+ years of experience in a hospital setting.
