Job Summary

Nikhil's Anand & Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement life skills workshops to empower clients with essential skills for independent living.
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address clients' unique needs and challenges.
  • Assist clients with special needs, providing personalized support and care.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings, promoting social integration and community engagement.
  • Offer mentoring and guidance to clients, helping them set and achieve personal goals.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience working with youth and vulnerable populations.
  • First Aid and Food Safety Certificates.
  • Criminal record check.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including newcomers and refugees.
  • Knowledge of cultural competency and diversity training.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
