Job Summary:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at William Osler Health System. As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based care to patients in our Emergency Department.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and provide education to patients and families.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Education: Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Experience: Minimum of two years of experience in a medical-surgical unit, with preference given to candidates with emergency experience.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated competency in arrhythmia interpretation, BCLS certification, and ACLS certification within six months of hire date.
