Veterinary Technician Career Opportunity

At VCA Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Uniacke Lakes Animal Hospital in Mount Uniacke, NS.

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting veterinarians with surgical procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. A strong passion for animal welfare and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

  • A minimum of a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program is required;
  • New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy are welcome to apply;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are also required;
