Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to join their team in Toronto.

About the Role

The Senior Technical Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing technical solutions that meet business objectives. This includes translating business requirements into architectural blueprints, working closely with product owners and managers, and analyzing the business-IT environment to detect critical deficiencies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software product standards, services, and custom configurations. They will also be able to facilitate the evaluation and selection of these components, as well as design standard and custom software configurations.

In this role, the Senior Technical Architect will lead the evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of solutions architecture across specific business applications or technologies. They will work closely with application architects to ensure alignment with enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, and business requirements.

The Senior Technical Architect will also create architectural designs to guide solution development across products, services, projects, and systems. They will work closely with the program management office (PMO) or project management office to ensure execution plans correspond with promised outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis, or a related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in IT solution development disciplines, including technical or infrastructure architecture, network management, application development, middleware, database management, or cloud development
  • Good understanding of product management, agile principles, and development methodologies
  • Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
