Job Description

We're seeking a reliable, full-time, permanent Driver based in Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Responsibilities:

Perform pre-trip and post-trips inspections to identify and communicate minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor
Complete daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile device
Load and unload truck by securing items to prevent damage
Local and occasional out of town routes
Ensure all materials are properly packaged and orders are complete
Deliver and collect products/waste containers in accordance with scheduled route
Serve customers by understanding, resolving and/or forwarding customer questions
Complete Daniels' commercial vehicle cleaning and disinfecting protocol on a daily basis
Accurately record information on packing slip and manifest
Comply with all environmental & health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

Class 5 license with air
Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required
Occasional lifting, pushing, pulling weights of sixty pounds or more
Minimum of 12 months verifiable, related behind the wheel driving experience
Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract
Ability to pass all pre-employment requirements
Ability to safely load and properly block, brace, and secure materials
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
Ability to drive the vehicle safely in accordance with all traffic regulations
Ability to complete compliance paperwork and all shipping documents/bill of ladings

$23 - $23 an hour
