Job Summary

Daniels Health is seeking a reliable and experienced Commercial Vehicle Operator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a Class 5 vehicle, performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and delivering products to our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Competently performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and communicate minor and major defects to the Transportation Supervisor.
  • Completes daily driver log book using HOS application on mobile device.
  • Loads and unloads truck by placing and securing items in a manner that prevents damage to the products and truck.
  • Ensures all materials are properly packaged and orders are fully complete and in accordance with the packing slip prior to trip departure.
  • Delivers and collects products/waste containers in accordance with scheduled route and serves customers by understanding, resolving, and/or forwarding customer questions.
  • Accurately records information on packing slip and manifest, ensuring compliance with TDG Regulations.

Requirements
  • Class 5 license with air brakes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as required.
  • Occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling weights of sixty pounds or more.
  • Minimum of 12 months verifiable, related behind-the-wheel driving experience within the last 36 months.
  • Clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract dated within the last 30 days.
