Food Service Team Lead

Maple Dips Incorporated is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure excellent customer service.
- Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that every customer has a positive experience.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership and supervisory skills.
Our coffee shop is a busy and dynamic environment, with a fast-paced atmosphere and tight deadlines. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and will be expected to maintain a high level of energy and productivity throughout your shift.
