Mechanical Project Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to join our team based in Port Colborne, Ontario. This role involves managing capital and expense projects from concept to closure, designing and installing new equipment, and creating 3D CAD models.
The ideal candidate will have experience with project management, mechanical engineering, and design of machines. They will also be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office products.
This position reports directly to the Project Director and does not supervise others. It requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing project scope, timelines, and budgets
- Designing and installing new equipment
- Creating 3D CAD models and 2D drawings
- Coordinating with other engineers and departments
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
- 6+ years of experience in manufacturing facilities or industrial environments
- Experience with project management, mechanical engineering, and design of machines
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office products, and technical writing
