Job Summary

We seek an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead our team and drive results in our portfolio operations. This is a full-time position that requires strong leadership skills, strategic planning expertise, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with residents, tenants, staff, families, and partner agencies.
  • Oversee day-to-day service delivery, ensuring alignment with our Quality of Life Philosophy.
  • SUPPORT AND LEAD THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ORGANIZATION-WIDE INITIATIVES AT THE SITE LEVEL.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external to GEF.
  • Manage financial performance of the portfolio, tracking and accounting for budget items.
  • Provide effective team leadership, including coaching and performance management.
  • Champion and actively participate in the organization's Health, Safety, and Wellness Program.
  • Oversee compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards at the portfolio and site level.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor Degree (diploma with related experience may be considered).
  • PC proficiency, strategic planning, finance/budgeting.
  • Supervisory skills, proven ability to collaborate effectively within a diverse workforce across various management levels.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of seniors housing industry is an asset.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and own vehicle required.
  • Able to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with education and experience. The salary is negotiable based on qualifications and location. The location is in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with opportunities for travel between sites as required.
