Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Affairs Specialist to support our team in Vancouver. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic communications plans, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and providing expert advice and support to our executive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive corporate affairs strategies to enhance our company's reputation and brand awareness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including media, government officials, and industry partners.
- Provide strategic communications counsel to our executive team, ensuring alignment with our company's goals and objectives.
- Manage and execute public relations initiatives, including media relations, crisis communications, and issue management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform our corporate affairs strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in corporate affairs, public relations, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of corporate affairs best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
