About the Role

As an Animation Programmer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge animation systems that bring our games to life. You will work closely with our team of animators, technical artists, and gameplay programmers to create seamless and engaging experiences for our players.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain real-time animation systems that meet the highest standards of quality and performance
  • Collaborate with animators and technical artists to create innovative animation solutions that push the boundaries of what's possible in gaming
  • Implement advanced animation techniques, such as physics-based animation, motion capture, and machine learning-based animation
  • Work with our gameplay programmers to integrate animation systems with gameplay mechanics, ensuring a seamless and immersive experience for players
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on animation programming
  • Expert-level knowledge of real-time animation systems, including animation middleware and custom solutions
  • Experience with animation blend graphs, real-time IK, animation compression, and advanced animation memory management
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with multiple platforms, including OSX, Windows, PS4, and Xbox One
  • Generalist experience or prior experience in other core areas of game development, such as AI or gameplay programming
  • Passion for developing and playing games, with a deep understanding of the gaming industry and its trends
