Refrigeration Engineer Opportunity

Laporte is a leading company in pharmaceutical, biotechnological, food, and industrial engineering, with a strong presence in Canada, the United States, and Europe. We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Engineer to join our team in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze refrigeration systems for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and biotech processes
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop refrigeration system designs and layouts
  • Perform CAD and drafting of refrigeration systems schematics and layouts in AutoCAD, Revit, and Plant3D
  • Develop and maintain refrigeration-related SOPs, HAZOPS, and safety analysis
  • Conduct site inspections of refrigeration systems
  • Organize and maintain project records
Requirements:
  • 2-3+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration system design and analysis
  • Familiarity with ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems
  • Knowledge of refrigeration and piping codes and standards
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD software packages, including Revit, Plant 3D, and P&ID (asset)
