About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Submittal Specialist to join our team at Annexair Inc. in a challenging role that will allow you to work on large-scale HVAC projects for prestigious clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret project specifications, mechanical plans, and electrical & control schematics;
  • Select mechanical components such as fans, heat exchangers, cooling and heating components;
  • Prepare submittal drawing requests for the appropriate department & coordinate Kick Off Submittal Meetings to meet specified mechanical, refrigeration, and control features;
  • Confirm project timelines in collaboration with the factory and sales department;
  • Confirm final estimations based on required supplier quotations, and ensure project costs match sales and estimation quotations;
  • Review quotes to meet client expectations;
  • Send project submittal files to engineers, and coordinate with sales until submittal approval;
  • Prepare release packages for project submittals, assemble all final estimates and supplier quotations, and coordinate delivery dates with Order Desk;
  • Coordinate Kick Off Release Meetings with the factory and release into production;
  • Track projects for any other requests until delivery.

Requirements

  • Technical school diploma in Building Systems Technology;
  • 3 to 5 years of HVAC-related experience;
  • Good understanding of air-handling unit design;
  • Communication and teamwork skills;
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office;
  • Functional French (asset);
  • English fluency mandatory.
