About You

You are a seasoned professional with a high level of expertise and a passion for managing multiple priorities. You have excellent communication skills and can lead the conversation to explore new opportunities. You are a socially poised problem solver who is also a motivating team builder.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee human resource activities across the employment lifecycle, including talent attraction, development, and retention.
  • Stay up-to-date on current developments in the HR field and apply that knowledge to drive business results.
  • Design and deliver employee training programs focused on leadership and supervision.
  • Recommend and communicate organizational policy changes to ensure compliance and alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on legal and regulatory compliance matters.
  • Lead and support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment.
  • Analyze data to inform personnel decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records, manage operational budgets, and provide input on compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or Business, with a minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proven track record as a Human Resources Manager or Business Partner in a multiple manufacturing or distribution center environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of employment standards and nuances across provincial and US state lines.
  • A strong understanding of HR data and metrics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, including Payworks, Workable, and Bamboo.
