About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team as a Human Resources Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing human resource activities across the employment lifecycle, including attraction, recruiting, onboarding, development, retention, and offboarding.

You will maintain knowledge of current developments in the HR area of expertise and develop and deliver employee training programs focused on leadership and supervision. Additionally, you will recommend and communicate organizational policy changes, advise others on legal and regulatory compliance matters, and lead and support employee engagement activities.

As a strategic partner, you will analyze data to inform personnel decisions and maintain personnel records, create operational budgets, and provide input and insight to compensation and benefits programs.

Requirements
  • Degree in Human Resources or Business, with a minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Experience as a Human Resources Manager/Business Partner in a multiple manufacturing or distribution center business unit environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal).
  • Working knowledge of Employment Standards and nuances of same across Provincial and US State lines.
  • A strong understanding of HR data and metrics.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, HRIS (Payworks, Workable, Bamboo).
