About the Job

  1. Develop and implement metadata management services and workload-aware data and metadata access optimization algorithms for Network Filesystem storage.

  2. Perform system testing for high-availability and reliable data storage solutions.

  3. Design and implement problem determination solutions to drive root cause identification and resolution on storage environments.

  4. Collaborate with a high-performance team using Python/C++ for development, contributing to the advancement of storage technologies.

About the Ideal Candidate

  1. Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field, registered with the school's co-op program.

  2. Familiarity with AI/LLM and storage system, operating system structures.

  3. Understanding of file system and LLM processing, including metadata layout and inference flow.

  4. Proficient in C, C++, and Python programming.

  5. Strong research capabilities and ability to learn new technologies/products quickly.

  6. Ability to handle complex tasks by assessing issues and breaking them down to reach an optimal solution.
