Job Summary:

Proform Concrete Services is seeking a skilled laborer to join our team. As a Skilled Construction Laborer, you will perform tasks involving physical labor for concrete and masonry construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in concrete and masonry construction projects.
  • Prepare surfaces for concrete placement and assist in setting forms.
  • Shovel concrete into construction areas and assist in finishing and curing processes.
  • Provide general clean up and ongoing monitoring and maintenance of work areas.
  • Conduct groundwork, loading and unloading materials, and act as a spotter for equipment operators.
  • Assist Carpenters and Concrete Finishers, and work collaboratively with all team members.
  • Ensure that work is completed within deadlines and communicate work progress and safety performance to site supervision.
  • Load and unload trucks, and ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a skilled labor role.
  • Experience working with concrete and knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies.
  • Class 5 Driver's License and ability to travel.
  • Ability to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and perform manual work following verbal and written instructions.
