About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as an Activity Leader, Support & Inclusion. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and inclusive environment for children of all abilities to participate and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work effectively within a staff team to provide support, strategies, and resources for children with diverse needs.
  • Provide individual support to children within the program setting when required.
  • Help build and contribute to a community environment of global supports and inclusion for all children.
  • Help children navigate conflict and role model positive behaviors.
  • Contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of care plans within the program.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 19 years of age.
  • Experience working with children 5 – 12 with additional support needs.
  • Emergency First Aid and CRC – C & AED.
  • 20 hours of training in Child Development, Child Guidance and/or Nutrition an asset.
  • Experience working with children with diverse needs.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $21.00.
  • A permanent, part-time position with 27.5 hours/week.
  • A fun and fast-paced work environment.
