Salary and Benefits

Job Description

As an Employed Student Nurse with Interior Health, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment that fosters your personal and professional growth. You will work under the supervision of experienced nurses and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with Interior Health's policies and procedures, and BCCNM ESN/ESPN Practice Standard requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications

To be eligible for this opportunity, you must meet the following qualifications:

  • Successful completion of year 3 of a BSN program or 18 months of a RPN program, or equivalent (and continued enrollment in a BCCNM recognized nursing education program).
  • CPR competencies (e.g. CPR certificate/experience).
  • Current Employed Student Registrant status with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
