Vacancy Overview

Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Manager to lead our Women and Children's Health department. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure the delivery of evidence-based care
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote a culture of safety and quality
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and experiences
  • Manage and allocate resources to optimize departmental performance
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives

Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Masters preferred)
  • Current registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Progressive leadership experience in a clinical setting
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in a Women and Children's setting
  • Participation in hospital committees and quality improvement initiatives
  • Experience in project management and data-driven decision making
