About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting functional and system requirements for Capital Markets and Wealth Management Compliance projects using Agile methodology. You will collaborate with Compliance partners to translate business needs, processes, and procedures into technical requirements documented in JIRA and Confluence. Additionally, you will act as a point of contact to coordinate with vendor consultants for product clarifications and issue reporting, manage data mapping activities by creating specifications that map various data sources to a standardized vendor data model, and work with project managers, developers, quality engineers, and other business analysts to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need 5+ years of experience delivering medium to high complexity software projects for financial services. You should have expertise in business analysis fundamentals such as gathering, analyzing, and documenting business rules using Agile methodology. Strong experience eliciting business requirements using Use Cases, Business Rules, Data Catalog, and User Interface Diagrams is also essential. Proficiency in requirements modeling tools such as data flow diagrams and business process modeling is required, as well as experience with creating data mapping specifications and familiarity with relational databases. Excellent communication and documentation skills are also necessary, demonstrated by knowing the audience and communicating one-on-one with stakeholders.

Salary
We estimate the salary for this position to be around $120,000 per year, based on industry standards and the location of Vancouver, Canada.
