Job Description:

Astellas Pharma Inc. is seeking a skilled IT Security Specialist to join our team as a Privileged Access Management Engineer.

About the Role:

This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the security and integrity of our systems by developing, implementing, and updating a comprehensive privileged access management strategy and framework.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing and implementing access controls and authentication mechanisms for privileged accounts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess privileged access requirements.
  • Enforce privileged access policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Monitor and audit privileged user activities to detect and respond to any unauthorized access or suspicious behavior.
  • Regularly review and update access privileges based on business needs and security requirements.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on privileged access management best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in privileged access management.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to identify and remediate any vulnerabilities or weaknesses in access controls.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in privileged access management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, access controls, and risk assessment.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls.
  • Experience with privileged access management tools and technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Privileged Access Manager (CPAM).
  • Familiarity with identity governance and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of identity management tools and solutions.
Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
