Key Responsibilities:
The Sales Agronomist will provide expert advice and strategic agricultural insight to develop ongoing profitable relationships with local producers. This role will focus on customer relations while supporting the overall growth, sales, and profitability of the site.
Key Accountabilities:
- Generate leads and create sales through customer contact
- Understand local producer needs and offer company product and services to optimize agricultural output
- Promote high-level customer satisfaction and develop relationships through trust, service, and integrity
- Manage and track inventory and bookings, complete claims and invoices
- Provide on-site farm support and delivery of Co-op products
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree or diploma in agriculture with eligibility for registration with SIA
- A background in agriculture with experience in a sales-based role
- Experience leading customer contact with a proven record in relationship development
- A combination of relevant education and experience may be considered
- Be willing to travel to various Ag locations throughout Prairie North
