We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Representative to join our team at HomeStead Land Holdings Limited. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment buildings in Hamilton, ON.
Key Responsibilities- Work Order Management
- Process and prioritize work orders for the site, ensuring timely completion and closure.
- Coordinate and facilitate work order submissions for the assigned site.
- Log maintenance requests and collaborate with team members to resolve resident work orders effectively.
- General Maintenance Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
- Conduct daily audits of outstanding work orders and follow up on progress.
- Close completed work orders within our online Maintenance Portal.
- Inventory materials and submit orders to replenish stock.
- Additional Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance walks weekly to identify and address common area deficiencies.
- Repair and report all common area deficiencies, including faulty door closures, light bulbs, plaster blisters, graffiti, and vandalism.
- Inspect fire systems and complete daily and weekly fire log books.
- Computer proficiency
- Excellent mobility

- Organized and able to handle multiple projects
