About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Representative to join our team at HomeStead Land Holdings Limited. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our apartment buildings in Hamilton, ON.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work Order Management
    • Process and prioritize work orders for the site, ensuring timely completion and closure.
    • Coordinate and facilitate work order submissions for the assigned site.
    • Log maintenance requests and collaborate with team members to resolve resident work orders effectively.
  • General Maintenance Duties
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
    • Conduct daily audits of outstanding work orders and follow up on progress.
    • Close completed work orders within our online Maintenance Portal.
    • Inventory materials and submit orders to replenish stock.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Conduct maintenance walks weekly to identify and address common area deficiencies.
    • Repair and report all common area deficiencies, including faulty door closures, light bulbs, plaster blisters, graffiti, and vandalism.
    • Inspect fire systems and complete daily and weekly fire log books.
