Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Fort McMurray, AB.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on engine products in a service shop and at customer sites.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair complex engine issues.
  • Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
  • Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of new and existing Cummins products.
  • Maintain own tools and equipment.

Requirements

  • Heavy duty Red seal certification - OFF road.
  • Basic level field service work experience.
  • Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products.
  • Mining experience open pit.
  • Working on Komatsus products.
  • High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional).
  • Customer service experience.

Working Conditions

  • This position is a Safety Sensitive Position.
  • 14 shifts on, 14 shifts off rotation.
  • Day and Night shift availability.
  • Staged from Suncor Base Plant.
  • Random drug and alcohol testing on site.
  • Service vehicle and tooling are provided.
