Job Opportunity

We're seeking a Petroleum Service Technician Apprentice to join our team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for:

  • On-the-job technical learning and shadowing accredited technicians
  • Service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories
  • Repair and maintenance of leak detection systems
  • Parts delivery to job sites as required
  • Management and housekeeping of shop and warehouse
  • Second man/helper duties on service calls under supervision of lead technician
  • Maintaining professionalism, sensitivity, and tact to portray the company in a positive manner
  • Developing independent judgment in solving unusual work problems
  • Developing strong, trustworthy, and lasting relationships with clients
  • Ensuring the company's health and safety policies and procedures are followed

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Mechanical aptitude and an affinity for solving mechanical problems
  • A clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Moderate computer skills
  • A willingness to continually learn and follow directions
  • Organizational, timely, and professional skills

Additional Assets

Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.

This is a regular, full-time position with a salary range of $24 - $30 per hour. The starting salary will be based on the successful candidate's competencies, including experience, education, and performance related to this role.
