About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team at BGIS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of petroleum equipment, electrical systems, and fuel management systems for retail petroleum stations, industrial manufacturing plants, utility providers, transit services, and public works yards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-the-job technical learning and shadow accredited technicians to support service and maintenance of petroleum equipment, systems, and accessories.
  • Repair and maintain leak detection systems.
  • Build hours towards petroleum technician accreditation.
  • Deliver parts to jobsites as required.
  • Manage and maintain the shop and warehouse.
  • Assist lead technicians on service calls.
  • Maintain professionalism and sensitivity in all interactions.
  • Develop independent judgment in solving work problems.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients.
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Follow company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Clean driver's abstract and valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Moderate computer skills.
