About the Role

Moga Carriers Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and ensuring timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and in good condition.
  • Manage emergency situations by dispatching personnel as required, and following up on issues with work orders to minimize delays.
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate records of vehicle operator work, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with cross-border dispatching regulations and practices, as well as highway trucking rules and regulations.
  • Supervise a team of 5-10 personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
  • Utilize computer and technology skills to manage schedules, track shipments, and maintain records, including proficiency in MS Windows and other software applications.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of goods.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience in the field of transportation and logistics, with a strong understanding of dispatching procedures and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
