About the Role

Gill Sons Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Truck Dispatcher Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of completed time sheets, payroll, and other summaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Coordination: Dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain work records and logs, and record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses.
  • Communication: Operate radio equipment and follow up on issues with work orders.
  • Knowledge and Compliance: Maintain knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required. We offer a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week.
Requirements
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
