Data Engineering Role at Electronic Arts

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our EAX team, driving the strategy and implementation of essential projects for EA's community of players.
This role will be instrumental in moulding EAX's data solutions, including structure, validation, documentation, storage, and retrieval. You will design unified data models that support the current needs of our games and are extendable to future needs.
About the Role- Work closely with Engineering and Publishing teams to understand workflows
- Review and provide feedback on data modelling problems
- Normalize and evolve our current data models
- Participate in risk assessments and mitigation
- Develop validation solutions to ensure consistent data throughout the system
- Experience with commercial data systems
- Familiar with cloud storage/distribution models
- An interest in gaming or digital platforms and digital distribution strategies is a bonus
- Passion for self-improvement and mentoring
The base salary range for this position in British Columbia is $115,100 - $161,200 CAD annually. We also offer a comprehensive package of benefits, including vacation time, sick leave, paid parental leave, extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, and retirement plan.
