St. John's Riverside Hospital is seeking a skilled Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a member of our gastroenterology team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of our gastroenterology attending physicians, assisting with procedures and providing comprehensive care to patients. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing gastroenterology consultations
  • Following up with gastroenterology patients
  • Contacting patients with lab and test results
  • Providing on-call coverage

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current valid license to practice nursing in New York State
  • A Master of Science degree in nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State
  • At least one year of experience in gastroenterology, with Spanish speaking skills preferred
