About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Solutions Manager to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our sales and business development team, you will be responsible for identifying, preserving, and growing our market share through proactive sales and relationship management with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Maintain Relationships
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Planning, Engineering, Operations, and Conservation and Energy Management departments.
    • Establish and nurture relationships with local municipalities and industry associations.
  • Expand Knowledge and Understanding
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest HVAC technology solutions, BC Energy Step Code, and BC Building Code.
    • Gain a deep understanding of our customer base and our strategic vision.
  • Manage Sales Leads and Opportunities
    • Effectively manage sales leads and sales opportunities in Salesforce.
What We're Looking For
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 4 to 7 years of recent and related experience in B2B and B2C sales.
  • A background in HVAC systems and mechanical aptitude is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills for conducting business in both informal and formal settings.
  • Confident leadership skills to inspire action from clients and represent our company as an energy solutions ambassador.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to negotiate win-win outcomes for all parties.
