Civil Engineer Co-op

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil or Geotechnical Engineer Co-op to join our Mining Environmental Group in Vancouver, Sudbury, Toronto, Montreal, or Fredericton.
Key Responsibilities:- Work on a variety of projects, including site characterization, slope stability, numerical modeling, foundation design, tailings dam design, embankment dams, and earthworks design.
- Visit project sites to gather information and participate in site investigation and drilling programs, core logging, lab testing, instrumentation installations, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with diverse teams of engineers and designers from conceptual design through to construction.
- Receive ongoing guidance and mentorship from industry leaders in a supportive company culture that fosters career development.
- Travel to various project sites within Canada and internationally.
- Working towards a degree in civil, geotechnical, or geological engineering with a desire for continued development.
- Some field experience related to drilling and/or construction monitoring.
- Eligibility to register as a professional engineer-in-training in British Columbia.
- Exposure to slope stability and seepage analysis, dam design, earthworks, and construction is ideal.
- Ability to build relationships with multidisciplinary project-based teams.
