About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team at Dillon Consulting. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will be responsible for designing and drafting transportation and municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, sewers, watermains, and drainage works.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals to deliver infrastructure projects
  • Design and draft transportation and municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, sewers, watermains, and drainage works
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge and skills to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
  • Contribute to the development of project design and implementation activities, including contract document preparation, tendering, and contract administration
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and contractors

Requirements

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology and valid registration as a Civil Engineering Technologist (CET) or Certified Technician (CTech) in the province of Ontario
  • 2-5 years of industry experience, preferably in consulting engineering and/or municipal environments
  • Practical experience in functional and detailed design drawings of various civil and municipal infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, along with a working knowledge of Microstation/InRoads software
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
