Job Summary

IBITS Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates and virus scans.
  • Collaborate with other team members to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Develop and implement technical solutions to improve client satisfaction and reduce downtime.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a related field, such as IT support or network administration.
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent certifications and experience.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Passion for technology and new challenges.
  • Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • High-level customer service focus.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Great attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Professional and Microsoft Office 365 expertise.
  • Experience with antivirus software.
