**About the Role**
As a Resident Engagement Assistant at Aspira Royale Place Retirement Living, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents. This is a dynamic position that requires a passion for creating engaging experiences and building meaningful relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement programs and activities that promote social interaction, recreation, and personal growth among residents.
- Collaborate with the team to design and deliver programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Assist in monitoring resident needs and preferences, and provide feedback to the team leader.
- Lead activities and events that foster a sense of community and connection among residents.
- Maintain accurate records of program participation and resident feedback.
**Requirements**
- Diploma or certificate in recreation, leisure studies, or a related field.
- Experience working with seniors, including an understanding of motivation concepts and leisure principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to pass a Vulnerable Sector Check (applicable to Ontario applicants) or a Criminal Records Check (applicable to British Columbia applicants).
