Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Red Satay Dieppe Inc.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and improve daily operations to increase efficiency and productivity
- Monitor and manage staff performance, providing coaching and feedback as needed
- Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics
- Set and manage staff work schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing labor costs
- Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
- Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution
- Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct performance reviews to assess staff performance and identify areas for improvement
- Cost products and services to ensure profitability and competitiveness
- Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to maintain a safe and responsible environment
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
- Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to protect staff and customers
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to secure the best prices and quality
- Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities to increase revenue and build relationships
- Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote the restaurant and attract new customers
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure seamless execution and continuous improvement
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
- College/CEGEP diploma in a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and lifting
- Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic
- MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word skills
- Experience in the food service industry, particularly in a restaurant setting
- Knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine and cultural practices
- Own transportation and a valid driver's license
