As a key member of the team, you will provide legal advice and counsel to internal clients, identify legal risk and potential litigation, and take a leading role in managing and resolving pre-litigation disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a wide range of matters, including commercial disputes and collections
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to internal clients
  • Identify legal risk and potential litigation
  • Take a leading role in managing and resolving pre-litigation disputes
  • Partner with senior management, finance, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and effective decision-making
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department
  • At least 3 years of litigation experience
  • Proven track record of managing or handling commercial litigation
  • Experience reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts and related documents
  • Ability to lead projects and work independently with little supervision and direction
  • Sound legal and business judgment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and timely using plain English
