About the Role

This is an entry-level position within our manufacturing team, where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and advance your career through on-the-job training and job progression.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform manual labor duties in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while working under tight production deadlines.
  • Feed cartons into gluing machines and remove finished products from presses, packing them into cases.
  • Ensure quality control by observing machine malfunctions and notifying maintenance personnel.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Perform basic preventative care and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment.
  • Safely perform all tasks on and around machinery and equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Prior experience in manufacturing or machine operations is preferred, but on-the-job training will be provided.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools are desired.
  • Strong dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and ability to maintain production pace are essential.
  • English language proficiency, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Basic computer skills and math skills are required.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift routine and occasional heavy loads.
  • Excellent attendance record and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Availability to work any shift schedule and adherence to company safety policies and government legislation.
