The YMCA of Greater Vancouver is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Hudson's Hope. As a child development specialist, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and creative programming for children.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Early Childhood Educator to lead our childcare program in Hudson's Hope. The successful candidate will have a valid License to Practice, three satisfactory professional references, and experience working with children in a childcare or recreational setting.

About the Role:

  • Provide high-quality care and creative programming for children
  • Establish and maintain positive daily communications and interactions with families
  • Assist in planning and implementing a consistent child-centred program
  • Work with staff to deliver age-appropriate programs based on the YMCA Playing to Learn curriculum
  • Adhere to Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies

Qualifications:

  • Current and valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice
  • Three satisfactory professional references & experience working with children in a childcare/recreational setting
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain & Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search
